Playable Species

There are many species native to the mortal realm which make up the playable character options at Wilde Realms. The species you choose does not impact your in-game stats or skills in any way.

The Mortal Realms societies are separated by geography and cultures, rather than species and faith. You can find any species in any of the kingdoms or regions in the mortal realm. For example, there wouldn’t be a city of only elves in Liria. Rather it might be a city with a high density of elves, but it is still home to all other species.

Human

Resourceful and stubborn. Humans, although living short lives, always find a way to thrive and build. Living to be around 80 years old, humankind always finds a way to thrive.

Fey Touched

Fey Touched

Fey-touched are mortals that have been effected and influenced by the convergence. Their mortal bodies and genetic make up warped to show their Fey genes. These people can come in all different forms such as changelings, beast-kin, half fey and magic sparked. Current studies believe these beings retain the life span of the species they were before the convergence.

Elf

The Elven bloodlines are long established and span the width of the Realm. Some stories say their origin lies in magic and mortality becoming intertwined at the beginning of time, but none know how much of this is simply folklore. The Elves amongst the nations now are well integrated and use their longevity to help guide their heritage and pass knowledge and skills across the passage of several generations of humans.

Sporting thick beards and merry ways, Dwarves have always found ways to excel in society. Some work to be expert crafters, others expert warriors on any battlefield. One thing you can always rely on when speaking with a dwarf is they will have a story to tell!

Orcs, Goblins and Trolls

Orcs, Goblins and Trolls

Orc's Goblins and Trolls are said to have been born straight from the heart of the earth, in the beginning, and as such are uniquely connected to the land. Each heritage benefits from the populations that call them home, as they bring skills and understanding that other species sometimes overlook. The Orcs are said to be some of the Realms most connected shaman and druids, and the Trolls have an almost supernatural instinct for hunting. The natural instinct for dexterity and guile amongst Goblins is treasured by those amongst the heritages that have need for foragers, trappers and artisans.
